When did you join ASM?
2019.

Tell us about your experience, lived and/or working?
In my previous job working for a large Bank for 30 years I specialised in supporting employees and their managers with Reasonable Adjustments. I have personal experience of supporting neurodivergent family members and also work as a Personal Assistant to a young adult with ASD and ADHD.

What do you value most about your work?
Being able to share my knowledge and experience that I have gained in all walks of my life with clients and to help them believe in themselves again. I really get how important small wins are and love to be able to show clients how these can build up. I enjoy helping my clients to develop the skills they need to enter and thrive in the world of work.

What are your areas of interest or expertise?
With a long history of working in Human Resources this knowledge supports both clients and colleagues, particularly when asking for adjustments. From a personal perspective I have had to negotiate many of the other life challenges that our clients face in terms of benefits and adult support services so understand how difficult it can be.

When you’re not working, how do you relax, have fun etc?
I am a great crafter (some may say excessive – potential ADHD), I run and sing in a local choir, I enjoy watching horror movies and paranormal TV and podcasts.
